Outcomes- and Outreach-Based Summer Programs

The Summer @ Your Library project has developed resources to help libraries implement outcomes- and outreach-based summer programs. Outcomes-based programs show meaningful results that demonstrate the value and impact of summer programs; they are relevant to the community, attractive to funders, and cost effective; they build capacity among staff; and they contribute to improved management decision-making.
